Welcome to TimberNook Tri-County! We are excited to bring TimberNook to Rock and Walworth counties, Wisconsin and Winnebago county, Illinois. We began with programs in Winnebago County in the summer of 2019 and Rock County in summer 2020. TimberNook is innovative outdoor play experiences designed to challenge the senses and inspire creativity, imagination, and independent play.
Overview
TimberNook Tri-County in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin- This summer we will be in the beautiful woods on a lovely farm in South Central Wisconsin. There is also a shallow creek there, perfect for wading and playing. We have two locations in Northern Illinois, although these are not part of our summer programs for 2020. The first is Pecatonica River Forest Preserve, located at 7260 Judd Rd. Pecatonica, IL. The preserve is 466 acres of woodlands including black sugar maple grove, a winding ravine, and wadable creek. Our second IL location is at the property of Amazing Grace Lutheran Church in South Beloit, IL. It has a magical woods and a beautiful creek.

My girls had a blast playing in the woods, they came home bursting with fun stories about their adventures! It was great to hear about the kids taking risks, trying new things and being creative.

What a wonderful experience Beth has created! Another Mom suggested Timbernook to me and I am so thankful she did! My son had the most amazing time running wild with peers. This is exactly what we all need given the difficult year 2020 has been. We cannot wait to be part of Timbernook again!

My daughter loved the "Storybook" camp. Even with two full days of rain she had nothing but excitement for camp, being with peers, and using her imagination in nature. Timbernook has a great sense of how to use their amazing space and connecting activities to their theme.

My son has never been so excited about a program. He enjoyed the “Storybook” camp so much we signed him up for the next camp! This truly is a program like no other where children are free to be themselves and explore a wide range of things.
