McLaren Vale, South Australia
TimberNook SA is fortunate to be based in the heart of McLaren Vale at the picturesque Girl Guides SA Douglas Scrub Campsite. This secure 26 hectare property, full of wonder and possibility for children, provides a diverse environment for exploration. Here, as well as engaging in full-body sensory experiences, children will be provided with extensive opportunities for free-play. There is a creek to explore, marshmallows to roast over the fire, and if they are lucky, they may even spot the resident echidnas, kangaroos, birds, and butterflies.

My girls had a blast playing in the woods, they came home bursting with fun stories about their adventures! It was great to hear about the kids taking risks, trying new things and being creative.

What a wonderful experience Beth has created! Another Mom suggested Timbernook to me and I am so thankful she did! My son had the most amazing time running wild with peers. This is exactly what we all need given the difficult year 2020 has been. We cannot wait to be part of Timbernook again!

My daughter loved the "Storybook" camp. Even with two full days of rain she had nothing but excitement for camp, being with peers, and using her imagination in nature. Timbernook has a great sense of how to use their amazing space and connecting activities to their theme.

My son has never been so excited about a program. He enjoyed the “Storybook” camp so much we signed him up for the next camp! This truly is a program like no other where children are free to be themselves and explore a wide range of things.
