Peterborough, Ontario

Timbernook-Peterborough, a division of Compass Early Learning and Care, brings transformative, sensory rich outdoor experiences to Peterborough and the Kawarthas. Timbernook-Peterborough strives to provide authentic, inspiring creative play in the great outdoors.

Overview

While we use a variety of fantastic locations here at Timbernook-Peterborough, our main site is located at Northcote Campus, part of Lakefield College School. This historic property once belonged to beloved Peterborough resident, Dr Gastle.

Our "hollow", as we affectionately call it, is nestled inside 160 acres of varying landscape- tall cedar trees, swampy marshes and beautiful shorelines of Lake Katchewanooka. There are endless nooks and crannies to explore, small wildlife and birds to observe, and magical places to get lost in imagination.
