Overview

What will your child do at TimberNook Denver-Metro? They’ll engage all of their senses and experience the sheer joy and endless possibilities of open rolling pastures on our 40-acre farm. They’ll start and end the day out in the barnyard where they’ll greet our friendly farm animals before making the epic journey out into the “wilds” of our TimberNook pasture. Here, in the open prairies, they’ll experience freedom. They’ll dig deep into the warm sand of our enormous 5-ton sand pit, or explore the sticky, gooey, cool sensations of submerging their hands and feet in our oversized homemade mud pit. They’ll build, climb and explore using our teepee structures as the starting point for creating elaborate, fantastic villages and develop complex play schemes supported by an enormous array of loose parts. They’ll experiment with gravity as they endlessly roll tires down our hills, squealing with delight as they take unexpected bounces and turns. They’ll create larger-than-life-sized bubbles in our giant bubble pit and create the ultimate slip and slide down the hills. They’ll experience the mind, body and psychological benefits of nature-based play. Play without limits. Play which supports their development, creates lasting friendships and promotes creativity, inspiration and wonder.
