Program Overview

Program Details:

This TimberNook West Central Florida night program is specifically designed to engage your tween/teen in grand outdoor play-based experiences — because tweens/teens still need time to play!  During the February 6 event, they will have the opportunity to build an create an entire glowing village in the woods.  This outdoor experience supports their every-changing development through rich sensory experiences, challenging motor skills, social engagement, and creative problem solving opportunities.  Every night program is filled with games, discussion, grand TimberNook experiences, extended time for tween/teen-led play, ample space for nature exploration, open fire cooking, and so much more!

• Screen-free, unique nature-based TimberNook programming
• A 3 Hour program to give your child extended time to fully engage in the theme and outdoor space
• A snack for your child to cook over the fire
• Exclusive access to over 10 acres of natural space
• Parent newsletter with photos from the day, tips for home, and a comprehensive developmental summary of the day
• The confidence that your tween/teen is given expanded freedoms and responsibilities but yet skillfully supervised at all times by educated, adult staff.

Night Program Details: 

• Saturday February 6
• Theme: Night Villages – Glowing Hideouts & Village in the Woods
• 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm (sunset is at 6:15 pm)
• Ages: 9 year olds – 13 year olds (age range is flexible)
• This is a drop-off program.
• You will receive comprehensive welcome packet a few days in advance with complete information on where to go, what to wear, what to bring, and what to expect.

Program Notes:

• A  Certified TimberNook provider facilitates the Night Program.
• Your provider is always CPR/First Aid Certified.
• This program is staffed at a 6:1 child to adult ratio.  All staff are background checked and finger printed.
• A primitive camp toilet is available.
• TimberNook West Central Florida programs are 100% outdoors. Weather appropriate attire is required.
• We are located in Southeast Plant City on over 10 acres of natural woods, a pine tree farm, grassy fields, and more.  701 Sparkman Road, Plant City, FL 33566.
