Program Overview

This program is all about art...gone wild! Children will be dabbling in decorative fort making, rocket painting, and even cooking with colors. Each experience introduces new creative art and play. If you think your child will enjoy whole-body sensory art, then this is the perfect program for them! Programs may vary based on location.
Extreme Art - Growing Places TimberNook
Program Details:

Growing Places TimberNook Extreme Art is open to children aged 5-12.  Our environment allows for individual and group play with trees surrounding our space, large rope swings and a mixture of summer fun with water, mud, and a camp fire to close out the week.  Please send your child to camp with at least one change of clothing, an extra pair of close toed shoes, NUT FREE snacks and lunch and at least two water bottles.  We make every effort to accommodate any child that wishes to participate in our program.  Growing Places TimberNook will provide sunblock and bug spray if needed.

In case of inclement weather we do utilize the Sugar Shack for short-term coverage, and in case of extreme weather we are able to utilize Moharimet Elementary School.  As a program that welcomes the beauty of sensory play, we will still hold and enjoy camp in the midst of a summer storm as long as there is no threat of thunder and/or lightening.
