Barefoot and Buckets - TimberNook Middlesex County
Program Details:

This week’s TimberNook Theme is: RAINBOW WEEK POD 2
We have had enough interest in our Barefoot and Buckets Rainbow week 8/2/21-8/6/21 to add a second pod.
The state has increased the numbers allowed in outdoor summer recreation programs so we may merge the two pods into one.
If not, the children in the second pod will arrive and depart 30 minutes behind the first pod. The time for Pod 2 will be 9:30-1:30.

Your children will create and explore with color, shapes, designing their own costumes/clothes and their own treasure map/hunt.
This program runs this week Monday through Friday from 9:30am-1:30pm for ages 5-9 years old.

All Covid Safety guidelines and protocols will be followed.

Currently we are capped at 24 children per program per week.  Staff Ratio is 1:6.
There is a TimberNook Certified and Trained Provider onsite each day.
Other staff include: Occupational Therapists, Educators, Outdoor Enthusiasts, and pediatric Yoga Instructors. We also will at times have Master Level OT student interns and high school students interested in childhood education, the medical field, and the great outdoors.

We will be maintaining a wait list so please contact me at sherry.kenin@extrasteps.org if you would like to be on the wait list.

Children bring snack, lunch and a refillable water bottle from home.
Dress your kids in old outdoor play clothes and/or swimsuits with sturdy shoes that can get dirty and wet. A change of clothes in their backpack is recommended.

Cancellation Fees: If you cancel 4 weeks prior to July 4th (June 14th) you will receive a refund minus a $50 cancellation fee. If you cancel after June 14th, there will be no refund. We hope you understand. With caps on enrollment, planning for staff and supplies, we need to be able to plan ahead for a fun and safe summer with your children.

Children of all abilities are welcome. If you feel your child may need additional assistance or would like to learn more to see if your child is a good fit for TimberNook please contact us to see how we can work together to make your child’s TimberNook experience a great one!

Financial Assistance MAY be available for qualifying families through 2 different organizations:
1. If you live in Acton or Boxborough please check out the Doli Atamian Campership Program at https://www.doliatamiancampership.com/
