Program Overview

This program emanates the childhoods of days past. A traditional TimberNook program where young children have unique play experiences that challenge their minds and bodies in beautiful, natural environments, followed by hours of free play. The children will be doing everything from color exploration in giant puddles and fort building with fabric to making stick horses and testing them out in the woods–and so much more! Programs may vary based on location.
Barefoot and Buckets - Growing Places TimberNook
Program Details:

Growing Places TimberNook Barefoot and Buckets is open to children aged 5-8.  Our environment allows for individual and group play with trees surrounding our space, large rope swings and a mixture of summer fun with water, mud, and a camp fire to close out the week.  Please send your child to camp with at least one change of clothing, an extra pair of close toed shoes, NUT FREE snacks and lunch and at least two water bottles.  We make every effort to accommodate any child that wishes to participate in our program.  Growing Places TimberNook will provide sunblock and bug spray if needed.

In case of inclement weather we do utilize the Sugar Shack for short-term coverage, and in case of extreme weather we are able to utilize Moharimet Elementary School.  As a program that welcomes the beauty of sensory play, we will still hold and enjoy camp in the midst of a summer storm as long as there is no threat of thunder and/or lightening.
